The game takes a similar format to other 80Arcade deckbuilding games, and features all your favorite characters from the world of RWBY, including Teams RWBY and JNPR, Cinder, General Ironwood, Zwei, Qrow and more! It promises no boosters or packs, and deckbuilding takes place by buying cards from a shared pool as the player progresses. You can play against an AI or with up to three friends in Quick Match mode, and work to unlock Relic Adventure Mode or purchase Raids which allow you to fight powerful bosses head-on for greater prizes.

“At 80Arcade, we strive to develop games that are easy to learn but hard to master, and couple them with stunning art and intricate themes,” said Matthew Scott, Partner at 80Arcade. “RWBY’s unique set of characters is a natural fit for a competitive card game, and we’re thrilled to bring the game to RWBY’s passionate fan-base.”

RWBY the anime follows the adventures of Team RWBY - Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang, as they team up to fight against the monsters and hordes of Grimm that plague the world of Remnant, and uncover deeper and darker secrets about their world as they work together to save it from evil.

"I'm so excited for RWBY fans to play this game and experience RWBY in a whole new way," said Kerry Shawcross, writer/director of RWBY. "The RWBY Deckbuilding Game gives RWBY fans a new way to experience the world of Remnant."

RWBY Deckbuilding Game joins the line-up of Rooster Teeth games based on the popular franchise which includes RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, RWBY Amity Arena and the crowdfunded RWBY Combat Ready board game.

The RWBY Deckbuilding Game is available for free right now on Steam, Android, and iOS.
