Overwatch King's Row Uprising Comic Dropship

Four skins for the upcoming King's Row Uprising event in Overwatch may have been leaked by way of a thumbnail on the Xbox One dashboard as reported by PVP Live.

The purported leak is sourced from two threads on the /r/Overwatch subreddit. The first thread shows two images that appear to have been pictures of a television screen taken with a camera and the second thread appears to have a higher-quality capture done through a digital source. These are the images in question:

The images show Reinhardt, Tracer, Torbjörn, and Mercy wearing blue Overwatch combat armor. These four characters kitted themselves out in this armor at the end of the Uprising comic where they were planning to intervene in the King's Row Uprising underway in London. The uprising was an event that took place earlier in the lore timeline; an Omnic extremist group had taken several hostages in the middle of London and had been holding out for weeks while the Overwatch team sat on the sidelines and waited for permission to intervene.

Although multiple images from different angles and sources are more convincing than not, we haven't been able to independently confirm these images with any of our staff. Nonetheless, the imagery lines up with what we've seen in the comic centered on the King's Row Uprising event. If these skins do make it into the game, they'll join the likes of the Strike Commander Morrison, Blackwatch Reyes, and Captain Amari skins that give us a look into the earlier history of the team. The latest Overwatch event is set to begin on Tuesday, April 11.

If these skins turn out to be genuine, which one of the four new ones are your favorite? What do you hope to see as some of the other skins? What do you think the King's Row Uprising event will be all about? Let us know in the comments below!
