It has been three years since the release of Batman: Arkham Knight, which seemingly ended the series in a definitive and satisfying manner. However, reports have begun to circulate that Rocksteady may yet take another crack at developing the perfect Batman game by literally going all in.

Two days ago, a Reddit user by the name of anonRocksteady posted an entire list of information about the possible title. The account has been mostly scrubbed by this point, but users at ResetEra have compiled everything about the rumored title, which is supposedly set to be announced at X018 this November 10-11.

The rumored title of the game is DC's Arkham Universe, with a heavier emphasis on multiplayer and multiple characters than any of the previous Arkham titles. The entire 'Batfamily' is in, with Batman, the Tim Drake version of Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Batwoman, Catwoman, and Red Hood all playable characters.

Gotham is 1.5x the size of Arkham Knight's Gotham, with districts and neighborhoods undergoing "complete overhauls" in order to make Gotham a "living and breathing" city. While the game plays similiarly to past Arkham games in the series, the included co-op allow dual takedowns in combat and stealth, with stealth segments forcing players to work together in order to complete objectives.

Characters apparently move "a lot quicker", with a repertoire that is mostly the same with a few new additions. The storyline takes inspiration from the numerous Court of Owls storylines, and players can use the Batcave as a main hub for "upgrades, character swaps, new missions, [and] game modes."

Supposedly this is the "last hoorah" for Rocksteady, but who really knows at this point. According to the rumor, the release date is Fall 2019, with current-gen consoles such as Xbox One, Xbox One X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro and the ever-present PC can expect a release, with the underpowered Nintendo Switch unsurprisingly left out in the cold.
