A retailer of geeky merchandise has stepped into the world of game publishing. Numskull Games has made their debut as a publisher and announced their first indie title: Rogue Glitch, a colorful roguelite platformer developed by Lino Slahuschek.

Numskull is a company that works on creating cool licensed merch for various movies and video games. Whether you're looking for some neat Fallout stuff or you'd like to grab some sweet Spider-Man merch, they've got you covered with a wide selection of cool products. Now they're moving into game publishing and they've announced their first game in a press release: Rogue Glitch.

Rogue Glitch is a roguelite platformer featuring an array of beautiful colors and pretty tough procedurally-generated levels. Projectiles will automatically target the enemies in this game, so your main focus is going to be carefully moving about in the world, avoiding damage from the bad guys and the intense environmental hazards. You'll be able to play this game as a solo experience or with up to four players in total in local or online co-op.

There will be seven character variants in Numskulls Games' Rogue Glitch, each with their own upgradable stats and skins. Players can collect over 80 unique items and enjoy a narrative told through completing events in Rogue Glitch. Not too good at platformers? Worry not, there will also be four difficulty levels to choose from.

This game will be coming to Steam Early Access for PC and Mac sometime next month. You can learn more about Numskull Games by heading on over to their official website. In the meantime, go ahead and add Rogue Glitch to your wishlist on Steam and check out the Rogue Glitch Announcement Trailer below.
