Red Dead Redemption 2 is just days away. Rockstar's long-awaited prequel to 2010's cowboy epic will almost be yours. If you want to get your hands on it as early as possible, Best Buy, Target, and GameStop have the answer.

You'll be able to snag a copy of the game at 9pm local time at these retailers. That's three hours before the midnight launch of the game. Red Dead Redemption 2 won't unlock until midnight, of course, but it should give physical copies the ability to preload the game's 100 GB install size ahead of release. This should allow you to play the game a bit sooner (depending on your download speed, of course).

In the meantime, though, take a peek at this leaked image of Red Dead Redemption 2's map, courtesy of Reddit users Mco_yum_yum and tomcruise_momshoes. The image, which is from the official game guide, can be seen below.

The Map was DMCA'd by RockStar, so our Tabletop Editor lovingly recreated it in Paint - you can view the original online here

We already know that a large portion of the original Red Dead Redemption will fit into the map. Flat Iron Lake is visible in the leaked image, as well as Tall Trees, Armadillo, and more. Although Mexico doesn't appear in the image, it's possible that it may still be a part of the full game.

The map certainly looks vast. It would explain why the game will take up a hefty 100 GB on your hard drive and why Rockstar has taken so long to develop the game.

Finally, Rockstar has addressed the Day One patch for Red Dead Redemption 2. Although they do not state how big the update will be, they say it will address "a number of last-minute tweaks, bugs, and fixes" and that they highly recommend players download it for the best possible launch experience.

Rockstar has also detailed their streaming and video embargos for people who want to stream or record the game. The embargo times (see below) are earlier than the official release of the game to accommodate for copies that "fall off the back of a truck". Probably a smart move considering how frequently games break street date and leak early, especially considering some retailers are basically marketing it as mentioned above.
