Raptor Giveaway – SteamWorld Dig

It’s the end of another week, and we’re just on the cusp of seeing some of the big releases of the first half of 2017. Resident Evil VII kicked off the year, and we can look forward to games such as Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Mass Effect Andromeda in the next four to eight weeks. Traditionally, the first month of the year has been a great time to catch up on titles you may have missed. I’m currently working my way through the second half of Watch Dogs 2 and having a blast. If you need a game to rediscover, you’ve come to the right place, as TechRaptor is commemorating the end of January by giving away a Steam copy of SteamWorld Dig.

SteamWorld Dig is one of the very first indie games we covered here on TechRaptor, and going back to that review shows just how far the site has come in the last few years. Our founder Rutledge gave it high marks at the time, stating how there was beauty in the fact that “the caves will change with every playthrough, offering you a unique experience every time that you play.” Having gone back to the game recently myself, I can definitely say that it’s still just as good in 2017. If you’ve never played a SteamWorld game, the third game in the series was recently announced, so now is the perfect time to catch up!
