Nintendo and Game Freak continue to roll out information on Pokemon Sword and Shield, confirming some long-standing rumors about the game's mechanics.

In a brand new trailer dropping this morning, we get the reveals of three brand new Pokemon, plus the official reveal of Yamper, which first showed itself during the E3 2019 demo.

The three new Pokemon include the fairy-type Alcremie, the rock-type Rolycoly, and the dragon/steel - type Duraludon. Surprisingly, the new trailer did not show off the other Pokemon revealed at E3 2019, the mischievous-looking Impidimp.

Outside of the three new Pokemon, the trailer had one big reveal in the form of Gigantamaxing.

Gigantamaxing, like the already revealed Dynamaxing, grows your Pokemon to an immense size while beefing up their power. Unlike Dynamaxing, Gigantamaxing can only be used with certain Pokemon, specifically those caught in raid battles.

So when a Pokemon Gigantamaxes, they also get the standard boost in power, but also get access to a unique move known as a G-Max Move. The Pokemon also changes their appearance as well, making Gigantamaxing a combination of Mega-Evolutions and Z-Moves for a temporary boost in battle. Three Gigantamax forms were shown, with Dreadnaw, Corviknight and the newly revealed Alcremie showing off their Gigantamax forms.

The revealed Gigantamaxing again proves previous rumors surrounding Pokemon Sword and Shield correct, meaning that certain Pokemon such as Pikachu, Lapras and Meowth are also believed to have Gigamaxed forms.

Along with Gigantamaxing and new Pokemon, we also get some information on version exclusives as well. Four pseudo-legendary lines have been confirmed to be version exclusives; the Dieno and Jangmo-O lines will be exclusive to Sword, while Larvitar and Goomy are exclusive to Shield. Gym battles and stadiums are also version exclusive this time around; with a fighting-type Gym exclusive to Sword, while a ghost-type Gym found in Shield.  The two gym leaders -fighter Bea and ghostly looking Allistair - are seen along with two new characters; the well dressed Chairman Rose, who is in charge of the entire Galar League, and his secretary Oleana.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are scheduled to release November 15th exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
