It's time for another State of Play! Sony has announced that we'll be getting a new State of Play in just a couple of days.

So what can we expect to show up? In a blog post about the State of Play, Sony has kept the details rather light. They said the show will be "rather hefty" and clock in at 20 minutes long. They also said you could expect "some great news to share with you, including new game reveals, new content from PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios, and a host of other updates." However, Sony is keeping one thing in check. They flat out said there will be no news or updates related to a potential PlayStation 5, at least not in "this episode." Independently, Naughty Dog has also tweeted out that The Last of Us Part II will be showing up, so it seems likely we'll be getting a release date on that.

So what about the rest of Sony? It's possible we'll get some ideas of what Sony Santa Monica is up to, since God of War came out early last year. Its also been a long while since we've heard anything about Sucker Punch's Ghosts of Tsushima, so hopefully we'll be getting some kind of update on it at this show. With Concrete Genie, MediEvil, and Death Stranding all coming out soon, it seems likely something may be mentioned about each of them. Of course, there will likely be a solid surprise or two in the mix.

The PlayStation State of Play will run on September 24th at 4pm EST. Stay tuned as we cover announcements made during the show.

Got any guesses on what Sony will be showing off? Think we'll finally get that The Last of Us Part 2 release date? Will there be some real weird stuff likely involving Hideo Kojima? Let us know in the comments below!
