Every Sunday Sony announces the new games that will be hitting the PlayStation 3, 4, and Vita this week, with most games coming out the following Tuesday. This week is no different, and Sony has put out its weekly listing of new games coming out.

The biggest release on the PlayStation 4's end comes from exclusive twin-stick shooter Alienation. Made by the same team behind PlayStation 4 launch title Resogun, this game sees you and your friends teaming up to battle off alien hoards and survive on a hostile planet.

The Arcade Archives series, which sees classic games from the 80's released on the PlayStation 4, gets another entry today with Arcade Archives: Kid's Horehore Daisakusen. This game (also hilariously known as Booby Kids when it was originally released in 1987) sees you digging booby traps for enemies while collecting items.

Turn based strategy game Battle Worlds: Kronos, which released on Steam back in 2013, is getting a port to the Ps4 this week. It's not the only game getting a port, acclaimed indie title The Magic Circle's port releases this Tuesday as well, as does pixalated puzzle game Party Hard, and free-to-play infinite runner Jetpack Joyride.

Sports fans looking for something a little more unusual than your usual Madden/FIFA/MLB The Show may be interested in this week's sole sports release: Don Bradman Cricket. This cricket-based game allows you to play as a 16 year old's 20 year cricket career as he attempts to become a professional.

Other Ps4 releases this week include a version of the ever so popular Brick Breaker, a side-scrolling bird based shooter Rocketbirds 2: Evolution, and strange platformer The Sun and Moon. The latter two are also coming to the PlayStation Vita.

While it's not a full game, upcoming Team Ninja developed Ps4 exclusive Souls-like game Niho will also be getting a demo this week. Tales From the Borderlands will also be receiving a physical release Ps3 and 4, but that game has been available digitally for a while now

On the PlayStation Vita side of things, its big release this week is Severed. This Vita-exclusive, developed by the same team that did Guacamelee, is a first person action RPG that sees you using touch-screen based controls to solve puzzles and battle monsters. Two other games are coming to the Vita this week: MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies (try saying that five times fast) is an action RPG where you play as a group of girls attempting to save a zombie infested school by making a movie. The second is a port of Strangers of Sword City, an Xbox 360 turn-based dungeon crawler leaving Japan for the first time.
