Update: Capcom has confirmed to Eurogamer  that they are currently working on bringing Dead Rising to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Further more, they will also be bringing Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

There is no word yet on Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, a $5 prequel game that introduced the mechanics and characters of Dead Rising 2, or Dead Rising 2: Case West which was a $10 sequel that saw Chuck Greene team up with Frank West to investigate a lead. Both Case Zero and Case West are still Xbox 360 exclusives. There is also no word on bringing Dead Rising 3 to the PlayStation 4.

Capcom has promised that they will have more to announce later.

Original Story: It seems there's possibly a pair of remasters coming to the PlayStation 4. A PlayStation 4 trophy list for the original Dead Rising and a list for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 has been discovered.

This isn't the first time a remaster for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 has been strongly suggested. About a month ago the Taiwan Games Software Rating Information board posted ratings for both Ps4 and Xbox One versions of the game, along with the original Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 was released in 2009 on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation Portable, and Nintendo DS. The game was developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. It followed both the Secret War and Civil War story arcs from the comics and saw you controlling groups of four superheroes as they battled other Marvel superheroes over a superhero registration act. While not as well received as the original, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 was still well received and is generally a well-liked game.

On the other hand, until now there haven't been any hints that Capcom was working on a remaster of Dead Rising. This game came out in 2006 as an Xbox 360 exclusive, though there was a remake for the Nintendo Wii three years later. The game stars Frank West as he tries to survive in a shopping mall in Colorado that is overrun with zombies. Currently, Capcom is working on Dead Rising 4 for the Xbox One and PC to come out in December, and the game features Frank West returning to Colorado. There is no word on an Xbox One or PC version of the remaster, but it seems likely considering Dead Rising 4 has a timed exclusivity deal.

There is no official word on if either of these remasters are real or when they're releasing.

How do you guys feel about this? Going to pick up one of the games? Already own them? Not happy with more remasters? Let us know in the comments!
