PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds launch on Xbox One was a timed exclusive, but now it'll finally make its way to PlayStation players this holiday season.

PUBG for the PS4 launches on December 7, 2018. It'll have both a digital and physical version. Those who pre-order will also get two bonuses that PlayStation players will be familiar with - the Nathan Drake Desert Outfit from Uncharted, and Ellie's Backpack from The Last of Us.

Along with those two bonuses are a PUBG avatar and PS4 theme.

The PlayStation blog outlined what content will be included in the PS4 version:

PUBG will launch on December 7 with three iconic maps – Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok – with the highly anticipated snow-themed map coming this winter. The game will include all major features like custom matches, ranked system, event mode, Trophies, and much, much more.
There will also be several versions of the game. The Digital and Disc Edition run at $29.99 and include just the game, although if you pre-order PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds you get the pre-order bonuses.

Two other more expensive versions will be available to purchase. The Survivor's Digital Edition runs at $59.99 while the Champion's Digital Edition is $89.99. These both include the game, and survival pass. They both include the upcoming Vikendi map. The only difference between the two is the amount of premium currency offered.

There's no word yet on if it will feature cross-play. So far, Sony has been rather reluctant to enable this feature for any games on its platform. In September, Sony finally allowed crossplay on Fortnite with Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and other platforms.

In other PUBG news, be sure to check out the game on the Xbox One if you own the console and are interested in the game. PUBG is available right now on Xbox Game Pass. The Game Pass service is having a promotion for the holiday season where the first month of the subscription is $1. It's also available on PC and mobile.
