The PlayStation 4 has been seeing a lot of smaller and independent games released on it. Sony is running its yearly pre-order discount program, now called Play Collective, and is offering up six of these upcoming games for pre-ordering at a 20% discount to PlayStation Plus owners. Similar to last year (when it was called Launch Party 2016) and the years before (when it was Spring Fever) one new game will be coming out every Tuesday starting next week. So what are this year's games?

The first game, which will be available on March 21st, is Everything, created by Mountain developer David O'Reilly. This also serves as the announcement for Everything, as the game has been developed in secret for a while. The game is more of an experimental thing, with no real goals other than to wander around and experience the strange creations of the universe. It will be available for $15, or $12 if you pre-order during the program.

March 28th's game is Rain World, which is developed by Videocult and published by Adult Swim Games. You play as a slugcat that is separated from its family and must traverse a dangerous world in an effort to be reunited with them. The game is a fast-paced platformer where you need to use the environment to fight and avoid enemies in creative ways. Rain World will launch at $20, or $16 if you pre-order. It will also be coming to PC.

The third game, April 4th's game, is PaRappa the Rapper Remastered, which actually means it has received a one week delay from its original release date. As mentioned in that article, PaRappa the Rapper is a rhythm game where you help a rapping dog rap his way through various situations in life. The remaster includes better visuals and a few new features. It will launch for $15, and can be pre-ordered for $12.

Next up is Cosmic Star Heroine on 4/11. In this throwback to jRPG classic Chrono Trigger you'll be exploring planets and fighting robots using a classic turn based system. You play as Alyssa, a spy who needs to go rogue after uncovering a conspiracy. Naturally, she'll probably save the world along the way. Cosmic Star Heroine is being developed by Zeboyd Games, the same developers behind Cthulhu Saves the World, and will launch for $15 but can be pre-ordered for $12. It will also be coming to Steam.

On 4/18 we get Full Throttle Remastered, a remastering of the classic LucasArts adventure game being developed by Double Fine. Here you'll play as Ben Throttle, a member of a biker gang who gets caught in a murder plot. Like the others, this one is also hitting the 15/12 price point. It's also the only game of the six available for the PlayStation Vita as well. If you're interested in it but not paying, maybe you can try winning a copy in our giveaway for the PC version.

Last but not least is What Remains of Edith Finch, which will be available on 4/25. In this game, you'll be playing as Edith Finch as she explores the Finch family home. As she uncovers her family history you'll play new sections and see perspectives from each family member on the day of their death. What Remains of Edith Finch is developed by The Unfinished Swan developer Giant Sparrow and published by Annapurna Games. It will cost $20, or $16 to pre-order.
