TR Member Perks!

GTA V is a gigantic game, both on old and current generation consoles. There are still plenty of things to discover, but one of the more interesting and elusive things in the current gen version of GTA V is the addition of Peyote plant collectibles. Once a plant is collected, the character has a rather lucid hallucination of being one of 27 different animals, a different one for all 27 plants. These plants are very small and hard to find, so a lot of them remained hidden for a surprisingly long amount of time.

You are reading the alt text. Hello! No Peyote here!

These little guys are hard to spot!

After about two weeks of painstakingly combing the map for these hard to find plants, GTA Forums user ‘UnspokenOuch’ and many, many others on the official Peyote thread have finally found the damn things.

[lightbox full=”http://i.imgur.com/2fzNGTK.jpg” title=”Peyote Plant Locations!”]All peyote plant locations! All credit goes to ‘DuPz0r’ from www.gtaforums.com as well as all the other excellent people on the official peyote topic. [/lightbox]

GTA Forums user ‘DuPz0r’ even made a wonderfully detailed map showing the exact location of all the peyote plants, which you can see and download for yourself at the above link. Be warned though as it is a bloody massive image. If you don’t fancy looking at a giant map, on the first post of the thread, there is YouTube links to videos showing every plant location, which I will post below for further convenience.

Again, I’d like to stress that all of the hard work I’ve shared with you here is not my own and full credit goes to everyone on the peyote thread . By the way, the reward for finding all of these plants? They grow back again, and you can use them any time you want. I was expecting a jetpack or something, but I guess that’s just asking too much isn’t it? I guess being able to play as a mountain lion and maul pedestrians will have to do.

For me, this is the real magic of open world video games; people coming together to find, solve, or even just discuss things they find in expansive worlds like GTA V’s Los Santos. I can’t wait to see what people find next!
