Fallout 4 is a pretty great game. However, it has one glaring problem stopping it from being perfect. You can only pet one dog. Thankfully, modders are once again fixing problems in Bethesda games.

The mod is called Pet Any Dog, and that's about all you need to hear to know what it does. Created by Sagittarius22, who also created a mod that lets you manually tune radios, the mod does literally what you'd expect. If you haven't figured out what it does yet though, Pet Any Dog makes it so you can pet any dog in the game that is friendly or at least neutral towards you. No longer does your dog petting have to be restricted to just Dogmeat, although he is also a fantastic boy that deserves pets. Now you can pet all dogs.

Petting dogs is a very important part of video games, yet is often underutilized despite its importance. Thankfully, there are sources out there that allow you to know which games implement this vital feature. Twitter account Can You Pet the Dog? keeps video game dog lovers updated on the petability of dogs across various games. Some recent games that the twitter account identified as allowing dog petting include Overcooked 2Red Dead Online, Outset, Flynn: Son of Crimson, Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered, and more. For more research, there is also a super important Reddit post on r/games that compiled a list of games where you could pet the dog.

You can get the Pet Any Dog mod for Fallout 4 over on Nexus Mods. Fallout 4 is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
