Persona fans have a lot to be happy about now that three games in the universe have been recently announced: Persona 3 Dancing Moon NightPersona 5 Dancing Star Night, and Persona Q2. For the moment, there isn't much information about Persona Q2 outside of a splash page on the game's website. The sequels to Persona 4 Dancing All Night were announced at the Persona Super Live P-Sound Bomb!!!! 2017 event in Yokohama as reported by DualShockers.

Persona Q2 is the upcoming sequel to Persona Q, a game that was released on the Nintendo 3DS in late November 2014Persona Q features gameplay in the style of Etrian Odyssey and characters from the third and fourth games in the Persona series. The first Persona Q game featured over 80 hours of dungeon-crawling gameplay, making it one of the longest games on the 3DS at the time (notwithstanding the potential for replayability with the fact that there are different ways the story can emerge depending on if you focus on the Persona 3 or Persona 4 cast).

As for Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5 Dancing Star Night, the two games are being released at the same time as separate titles much like the Pokémon games have been handled. Trailers for Persona 3 DMN and Persona 5 DSN accompanied the announcement.

If you're unfamiliar with these particular spin-offs, these games are exactly what they say on the tin: rhythm dancing games featuring characters from their respective Persona games. On the off chance you'd like to see the Persona Super Live P-Sound Bomb!!!! 2017 concert for yourself, you can watch it at the cost of a ¥1,500 (approximately $13.54) e-ticket on Nico Nico.

The existence of these new games were hinted at after Atlus reserved a flurry of domains in April 2017, some of which are sure to be used for these newly-announced titles. Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5 Dancing Star Night will release for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita sometime in Spring 2018. No release date has been announced for Persona Q2 as of yet, though we do know that it will be on the Nintendo 3DS.

What do you think of Persona Q and Persona 4 Dancing All Night getting sequels? Do you like that Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5 Dancing Star Night are being split as separate titles and releasing simultaneously or would you have preferred that they were both included in one package? Are there any other Persona 5 spinoffs that you would be interested in? Let us know in the comments below!
