Killing Floor developer Tripwire comes back for more of a sideshow this year, this time blasting circus freaks, robots and more on a massive steamship. The trailer showcases more guns and mayhem for players in their latest Summer Sideshow, Treacherous Skies.

The sideshow takes place on the HMS Queen Victoria, the steampunk airship of Ringleader Lockheart, from previous versions of Killing Floor 2. Lockheart narrates the trailer by telling the players they need to help him eliminate waves of zombie circus freaks and rogue robotic bodyguards as the airship fly t0 Lockhearts private island in the English Channel.

Added to the mix are a couple of new weapons to pick up and kill zombies with. The static strikers, electric brass knuckles that can shock enemies with a single punch, the hefty doomstick shotgun, wielding four barrels of firepower in one trigger pull, and the M99 sniper rifle, which is designed for a long-range precision kill. Players will have the ability to upgrade any weapon they wish, allowing them to take their favorite guns to the late stages of play for the first time.

Also coming into play in Treacherous Skies is a new playable character, Mrs. Foster from previous versions of Killing Floor 2, voiced by famous actress Claudia Black.

All of this content will be available tomorrow for Killing Floor 2, with a free demo for players to enjoy for a limited time.

Developer Tripwire is not done, however. After touting Treacherous Skies, producer John Gibson  John Gibson then takes the stage to discuss their new publishing arm of the company. TripWire is promising publishers fair deals, marketing, funding, mentoring and feedback for smaller companies looking to succeed in the massive indie game market. One of the first games shown on the screen under this is a motorcycle racing game Road Redemption.

Look for the Summer Sideshow update tomorrow for Killing Floor 2.
