Per Aspera is an interesting strategy game from Raw Fury and Tlön Industries. This is a "planet simulation" strategy game where you're preparing Mars for colonization by humans — and it's a little different than the kind of games like this that we've seen so far.

In the near-ish future, we've managed to copy the human mind into that of a robot. AMI is a robotic vehicle that is being sent to Mars in order to prepare the planet for humanity's arrival. You won't be constructing a tiny colony in some crater named after an astronomer; instead, you will be building a network of structures that spans the entire planet. Mine resources, set up transportation, and slowly work your way towards making Mars the kind of place that anyone would love to live.

This isn't the first time that such a mission has been attempted, though. According to a press release that dropped after the game's reveal, multiple other expeditions had been attempted prior to your landing on the red planet. You'll be able to explore these sites and uncover the mystery that befell these doomed expeditions.

While you'll technically be alone on the planet, you won't necessarily be incommunicado. A crew in Houston will help guide you to success, whether you're playing in the game's sandbox mode or diving deep into the world of Per Aspera by playing the campaign.

You can watch the Per Aspera trailer for yourself below. Don't forget to add this game to your wishlist on Steam!
