During the PC Gaming Show 2019 conference this Monday, we saw a gameplay trailer for Frontier Developments' Planet Zoo, a zoo simulation game. You will get to manage your own zoo, with all the animals that entails, feeding and caring for them, but also learning to preserve and conserve the environment and making the zoo not just a prison for animals, but a sustainable environment. Elephants, wolves, zebras, all animals are there for you to take care of.

This is a wild simulation game from the developers of Jurassic World Evolution (2018), Planet Coaster (2016) and Zoo Tycoon (2013). Planet Zoo will feature very authentic living animals who think, feel, and explore the world you will create around them. You will get to experience a globe-trotting campaign or let your imagination run wild in the freedom of the Sandbox mode. You can create unique habitats and vast landscapes, making big decisions and meaningful choices as you nurture your animals, building and manage the world's wildest zoos. The ultimate goal is to build a truly modern zoo where animal welfare and conservation comes first rather than just exploiting the animals in cages.

Planet Zoo will release for PC on November 5 this year. It will be available on Steam in Standard ($44.99) and Deluxe Editions $54.99, and pre-orders are already available on Steam. Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition can join the Planet Zoo Beta later this year, and will receive the Komodo Dragon, Pygmy Hippopotamus, and Thomson’s Gazelle for their zoos at launch. You can follow Planet Zoo on FacebookTwitterInstagram, and YouTube. You can also check the game's official website.
