It seems that it was only a matter of time; as the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel developer has detailed its plans in regards to the games DLC.
Much like Borderlands, and to a further extent Borderlands 2 before it; Borderlands The Pre-Sequel will eventually be host to a very large amount of DLC. Beyond the now common pre-order bonus that seems to unlock a challenge arena in the game, it also appears that this title will borrow heavily from Borderlands 2’s DLC practices; employing mostly the same season pass as before. Consumers that buy this season pass will save $10 off of what they would have to spend to get each of the 4 DLC packs separately.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be launching on October 14th for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC; with a Linux and Mac release on day-1 as well.
