Today in the preshow to the Sony PlayStation Event at Paris Games Week Sony took the time to announce the title from Disruptive Games in a world debut for PS VR coming in 2018. With a bright and colorful pallet, the game looked vibrant and interesting with Megalith showing you controlling a beast with the tagline “Become a God”.

Megalith marks the first time VR really attempts to tackle the Hero Shooter genre, as you work with teammates to battle against the other size as a titan. You will be able to customize your abilities in some way, and it has free locomotion and destructible environments to make more strategic options available. The studio is a newer one but includes folks who worked at Insomniac and did a lot of work on multiplayer titles

Megalith will be a timed exclusive for PS VR and releases sometime in 2018
