Blizzcon 2018 is creeping up ever closer on us and a new Sombra skin has been revealed on the Blizzcon All-Access Kickoff show according to a news post on Blizzard's website. The skin's existence leaked earlier today in a submission by /u/rudylovesfood on the /r/Overwatch subreddit.

If you're unfamiliar with Blizzcon, Blizzard's dedicated gaming assembly is a big event. The convention centers on the developer of some of the world's biggest franchises like WarcraftDiablo, and of course Overwatch. The last few years have seen the creation of the Blizzcon Virtual Ticket, a digital pass that lets you access exclusive content including some neat in-game items for various games from the Irvine-based company. A new Demon Hunter skin for Sombra was revealed on the Kickoff show for Blizzcon 2018 as seen on Twitch from a USA Today piece on the skin.

The 2018 Virtual Tickets are available for purchase now, and it appears that a bug or some other error had revealed the existence of a Demon Hunter skin for Sombra a bit early. /u/rudylovesfood took video of the skin in motion which you can see below:

To see the skin, /u/rudylovesfood had to redeem his Blizzcon 2018 Virtual Ticket. Once he did, he noticed that the skin was viewable in the prematch dropdown menu. It is not yet viewable in the Hero Gallery. Here's a few images that were also provided with the post:

This Demon Hunter skin comes as a departure from past Blizzcon-exclusive skins. It's still up in the air if this is going to replace the standard silver & blue skins for the convention or if this is going to be some kind of supplemental bonus in addition to the branded items. There's an important note to point out at the bottom of the Blizzard news post:

The in-game items for Overwatch, StarCraft II, and StarCraft: Remastered will also be available separately in 2019—further details will be announced at a later date.

Looks like the Virtual Ticket will get you this skin a bit early rather than it remaining exclusive. If you don't mind waiting, you won't have to drop a bunch of money to get your hands on it. If you don't yet already own Overwatch, you can pick it up as the early unlock for subscribing to Humble Monthly for just twelve bucks or you can just purchase the game straight-up from Blizzard for $39.99 or your regional equivalent.
