An Overwatch Double XP weekend is taking place right now. Not in the mood for a 6v6 hero shooter? Well, an Apex Legends Double XP weekend is also taking place, right before we enter the fray that is E3 2019.
Each of these two games are currently in the midst of special time-limited events, so read on for all the fine details on your chance to double your progress!
Overwatch Double XP Weekend

Players on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will earn double experience while playing the game in any of the qualifying game modes. Do note that we're currently in the midst of the Overwatch Anniversary event — this means that loot boxes you earn during this period can drop loot from any of the game's other events throughout the year!
The Overwatch Double XP Weekend and the Overwatch Anniversary event both end on June 10, 2019.
Apex Legends Double XP Weekend
If Battle Royale Games are more your kind of jam, you have another option available to you: an Apex Legends Double XP Weekend will also be taking place during the insanity that is E3 2019. Apex Legends is also in the midst of their own event. Titled the Legendary Hunt, it gives players the opportunity to score some sweet cosmetic gear for a short period of time.
Players will be able to earn double XP for their base level progression and for the Season 1 Battle Pass progression for the duration of this weekend. The Double XP Weekend for Apex Legends also ends on June 10, 2019, but the Legendary Hunt will be continuing for some time after that.
