One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is getting a western release

In another bout of news for a normally Japanese only franchises getting western releases One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 from Bandai Namco is getting released in English speaking countries. Bandai Namco also recently announced that another game, J-Stars Victory VS+, was also going to be getting a western release.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is being developed by Koei Tecmo and will be similar to other games in the Warriors series where you will play as a character who fights hordes of foe in a large map. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PSVita and Steam. The Steam and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will have bonus features such as enhanced graphics and the ability for more enemies to be on the screen. For those farmiliar with the One Piece storyline this game will begin at the beginning of Luffy's adventure and will have chapters leading all the way up to Donquixote Donflamingo and will also include Luffy's childhood friend, Sabo.

A trailer was revealed mostly showing off moments where Luffy meets his crew members but also shows off some gameplay at Fishman Island as Luffy and Law fight countless fishmen, if you wanna see for yourself you can check out the trailer below.
