I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer vacation. Whether that was spent catching up with family or catching up with the backlog, the year is starting up again. August looks to be jam packed with releases like Sonic ManiaHellblade, and Agents of Mayhem, and every month afterward will be just as packed. As for me, I’ve been having a card game summer, with looks at Fable Fortune and Plants vs Zombies Heroes whittling away the days till the big releases.

One other game I’ve been fooling around with is Nova Blitz, a free to play title on Steam that takes the general Hearthstone-style gameplay of most TCGs and speeds it up to 11. Every turn, both players throw cybernetic monsters on the field at the same time, and the person with the best reflexes gets an advantage in combat. It’s a fun twist on the normal fare, so I got in touch with the devs and secured some card packs for our readers!
