Northwest Majors IX.5 is the last offline North American event for the Capcom Pro Tour, meaning that for unsponsored players who can't travel abroad, or even beyond the west coast, the points obtained here will be extremely important. However, that's not going to stop some of America's best from other corners of the country from signing up and taking them anyway. Will northwest-coasters be able to defend their points?
In addition to the headlining game, tournaments were also held for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Injustice 2, Tekken 7, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Streaming was handled by Team Khaos, GameClucks, and Seattle Tekken, all on Twitch. As usual, players will be listed in “[sponsor/team name] | [player name]” format, with their used characters in brackets.
