While it's been slightly delayed on PC, the release of No Man's Sky is quickly approaching. Right now, there are a ton of leaks on the Internet, largely based on one fan who paid over $1300 for an early copy of the game and has been sharing some information online.

For those who want to stay away from those detailed leaks, there is, however, a bit of information that came out this evening courtesy of Exophase. As you no doubt guessed based on the title, that would be the list of Trophies available in the PlayStation 4 version of the game. There are 23 possible trophies to earn: 6 bronze, 8 silver, 8 gold, and of course, one platinum.

By name, here is the list of trophies:

  • A Scanner Darkly
  • A Space Odyssey
  • Babel-17
  • Citizen of the Galaxy
  • Contact
  • Foundation
  • Galapagos
  • Have Spacesuit - Will Travel
  • Pattern for Conquest
  • Stranger in a Strange Land
  • Symphony For A Lost Traveler
  • The Diamond Age
  • The Forever War
  • The Languages of Pao
  • The Longest Voyage
  • The Sentinel
  • The Space Merchants
  • The Star Beast
  • The Stars, Like Dust
  • Total Perspective Vortex
  • Use of Weapons
  • What Mad Universe
  • Who Goes there?

The trophies generally conform to a series of several rankings in certain activities you can perform in the game. Here is a list of the activities that can earn you trophies there:

  • Uploaded Discoveries
  • Exploring Space
  • Accruing Units
  • Collecting Words
  • Alien Colonist Encounters
  • Destroying Ships
  • Lifespan
  • On-Foot Exploration

We'll be finding out more about No Man's Sky in the days ahead. If you want to get ready for launch, the NMS Discovery Tracker went into beta and will be a tool to help.

Quick Take

The Trophy list looks like it covers a solid variety of activities based on what we know of No Man's Sky. Whether that's enough for everyone, that's tough to say.
