Last week, Nippon Ichi Software teased fans with the launch of a website showing off an image for a new IP. This week, in an issue of Famitsu (Translation via Gematsu), NIS revealed a few details about the upcoming project. The game is called Tsuihou Senkyo, translated as Exile Election, and will be an adventure/visual novel game for the Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita.
Exile Election’s plot involves a mechanical doll, called “Alice”, who forces 12 characters to partake in a killing game, where they have “elections” to determine who lives and who dies. The setting will take place in an old abandoned amusement park. NIS has also revealed the cast and their respective voice actors as the following:

- Hakushuu Izumi (Shun’ichi Toki)
- Issei Ninjouji (Kengo Kawanishi)
- Kaasha Tademiya (Satsumi Matsuda)

- Michimune Ishidou (Tomoki Inoue)
- Minoru Himeno (Nao Shiraki)
- Misai Ichijou (Manaka Kono)
- Motomu Ichijou (Yoshitaka Yamaya)
- Raijin Ayara (Taku Yashiro)
- Shihori Yurizono (Ayaka Imamura)
- Yuuru Himeno (Natsumi Fujiwara)
Of those, Motomu Ichijou is set to be the protagonist and is described as someone who always keeps calm, no matter what.
Also mentioned in the article is the lead staff for the game. The producer will be Moto Sugunma, and the director will be Akihiro Arahori, whose previous works include Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World and Trapt. The scenario writer is Maoto Nishikawa, who has been credited with 9 visual novel titles in the past with titles such as Symphonic Rain. Finally, the character designer is named Namanie, who is an active manga artist that has worked on 4 visual novels before and has published 6 manga series.
According to Famitsu, Exile Election is 90% complete at the time of writing and will be launching on April 27, 2017, in Japan. The PS4 version will retail for 6,980 yen, and the Vita version will cost 5,980 yen. There is no news of an English localization at this time.
