After showing off a couple of new titles Nintendo put the spotlight on the third party publishers that are creating games for the Nintendo Switch including SEGA, Bethesda, and EA to announce their own plans for their company on the Nintendo Switch.
SEGA didn’t have anything to announce but have said that they are excited with what they have in store for the Nintendo Switch. Skyrim will be coming to the Nintendo Switch as revealed by Todd Howard. SUDA51 spoke saying that Travis Touchdown will be making another appearance on the Nintendo Switch, there is no title for the new entry in the No More Heroes franchise but discussion about the title has been ongoing for a year. Patrick Soderlund of Electronic Arts spoke of his own love of Nintendo, and how he gave his son the middle name Luigi, and today announced that the EA Sports titles will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. These titles include FIFA, giving Switch features such as on the go play, more information about EA titles will be revealed at a later date.
34BigThings also announced that they were also releasing a new racing game called Redout to the Switch. Powered by the Unreal Engine Redout is set in 2560 after the creation of magnetic race tracks have made Earth the most popular location for the next level of sports. Redout will launch for the Nintendo Switch in the Spring of 2017 both at retail and digitally. Further information such as the pricing and release date will be announced at a later date.
While not revealed during the event other third party games that have been announced to be coming to the Nintendo Switch include Minecraft, Project Sonic 2017, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and many others.
