Nintendo announced a major event for 500 lucky fans of the Legend of Zelda series, who will have a chance to see the upcoming Legend of Zelda game on the Wii U at the Nintendo Store in New York City up close.

According to a Press Release, Nintendo has announced the Legend of Zelda experience will see 500 fans participate in a six-day event for the Zelda title, from June 14th-19th. The fans will be able to watch the E3 press event and Treehouse demonstration live, before being allowed first-hand access to the new Zelda title, including guided and playable demos by the Nintendo staff.

To be guaranteed full access for the demo and hands on presentations, players must go to the Nintendo Store located in Rockefeller Plaza in New York City on Saturday, June 11th (dubbed Super-Fan Signup Day) and be among the first 500 customers in line for the store when it opens at 9 A.M. Nintendo will allow fans to begin lining up at 7 A.M that morning, so those who planned to camp for days will have to wait until the day of for a spot. A photo ID is also required to receive a handband, which can later be exchanged for a ticket and appointment during the event.

The schedule for the event itself begins on Tuesday June 14th, during E3, where fans in the afternoon of the 14th will be able to watch a livestream of The Legend of Zelda from Nintendo Treehouse.  The rest of the week will include hands-on experience and guided gameplay demos with the Legend of Zelda by appointment, along with Zelda trivia for fans to win some prizes on the side. Nintendo is also encouraging fans to come in cosplay as their favorite Zelda characters, and will be decorating the Nintendo Store with a Zelda-themed motif in celebration for the game.

This will be the first time The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U will be made payable to the general public, so for fans out there here is your chance to get some extensive time with the game.
