Three Nindies announcements were dropped at the Nintendo Direct for E3 2018: Overcooked 2, Killer Queen Black, and Hollow Knight. All three of these titles will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Overcooked 2 is the sequel to the fast-paced co-op cooking game. It will feature new game mechanics like the ability to throw ingredients. Overcooked 2 will feature both local wireless and online co-op multiplayer.
Players who pre-purchased the game can get Kevin’s special “Too Many Cooks Pack”. You’ll be able to play Overcooked 2 on Nintendo Switch (with an exclusive Platypus Chef) on August 7, 2018.
Killer Queen Black
Killer Queen Black is the much-rumored title which appears to be a stylish platformer of sorts. It’s an 8-player arcade-style game with strategy elements, based on the 10-player arcade game Killer Queen. Two teams of up to four players will head off against one another with each player having only a single button and joystick to use. Players will also be able to play the game in a solo free-for-all battle.
There will be five different weapons in Killer Queen Black: sword, morning star, lance, stinger, and laser. Each weapon has its own distinct strengths and weaknesses. Players will be able to duke it out in ad-hoc local multiplayer or online multiplayer.
You’ll be able to play Killer Queen Black sometime around Holiday 2018 on the Nintendo Switch.
Hollow Knight is Team Cherry’s Metroidvania that will finally be making its way to the Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch version of Hollow Knight will include all of the new items, characters, bosses from the free content packs that have been released for the game so far. Nintendo Switch players will also get access to the Gods and Glory content pack that is coming out sometime later this year.
Hollow Knight will launch later today on the Nintendo eShop.
Hollow Knight will be available on the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch today. Overcooked 2 will be available on the Nintendo Switch on August 7, 2018. Finally, Killer Queen Black will be released sometime in the Holiday 2018 area.
