During today's Inside Xbox stream it was revealed that the brutally tough Xbox 360 game Ninja Gaiden 2 is coming to the Xbox One alongside an X enhanced version. This means the Xbox 360 title will look better than ever in 4k with the core game intact. So get ready to die a lot at 9 times the original resolution.
For those new to the series, Ninja Gaiden is a spin-off game from Dead or Alive developer Team Ninja in which you play as the ninja Ryu on a quest to hit a bunch of bad dudes with your sword and other bladed weapons. The series is notorious for its difficulty and challenge, but generally well reviewed and definitely worth a play for fans of challenging action games such as Dark Souls, Devil May Cry, and classic platform ninja games. It was also once named the "4th Most Goriest Game of All Time".
Immediately after the Ninja Gaiden 2 reveal. It was announced that the Xbox 360 Splinter Cell titles, Double Agent, Conviction, and Black List will also be getting Xbox One X enhanced versions, along with two much-requested entries in the Fable series, Fable 2 and Fable 3. All 6 of these titles will be playable on the standard Xbox One models (in fact, all were already other than Ninja Gaiden 2) as well as having enhanced graphics and resolution on the Xbox One X. This means you can finally kick chickens in beautiful 4k. Just as Peter Molyneux intended.
