In the early days, as Zelda transitioned to 3d it became harder to imagine how large the world was. Even with Wind Wakers vast ocean, you felt confined to entrances and exits. But as Nintendo hinted at a more open world Zelda, the possibilities became endless.

The vast new world of Zelda features beautiful, open fields and mountains. You can enter any area from any direction, and the game will encourage this exploration and problem solving. At the end of the reveal,  Link is chased by a vicious monster, and must battle it in glorious HD explosions.
