1TB Xbox One

Xbox Live's Major Nelson has just announced via his blog that the rumors of the new Xbox One console with expanded storage will be releasing later this month. On top of the space the Xbox One will also have a matte finish and this bundle will also come with the new Xbox One controller and in some regions a copy of Halo: Master Chief Collection pre-installed.

The 1TB Xbox One console will be shipping to retailers on the 16th of June and will only cost $400. That means that the current price drop on the 500G model of the Xbox One will be keeping its current price of $350 in the US and select other regions.

The new Xbox One controller comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack in-built to the bottom, where you would normally plug in an adapter. All of the game and voice volume controls will be accessible via the settings menu on the controller. On top of that the bumpers have also been given an improvement and the controller will be able to receive wireless updates. While being bundled this controller will also be purchasable as a stand along product in black or in a new Special Forces design.

Are all the new features worth picking up a new controller?

Lastly it was also announced that this fall a wireless adapter for Windows is being released for $25 stand alone or $75 with a new controller. This will mean you will be able to use this controller without wires on any Windows 10 PC, Tablet or Laptop.

What do you think of all of the new additions to the controller? Will the increased price help the public's view of the Xbox One? Are you looking forward to being able to use the Xbox One controller on PC wireless?
