New Vampire The Masquerade RPG Announced by Developers of The Council

Publisher Bigben Interactive is currently having its Bigben Week showcase, and one of the announcements they made was of a new Vampire: The Masquerade RPG in partnership with Paradox Interactive, who now hold the rights to the franchise, but the game will be developed by Big Bad Wolf, creators of the episodic adventure game The Council (our reviews of all five episodes).

The announcement comes in the wake of the publisher's first foray into the World of Darkness universe with Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, which they acquired in November last year, as we reported. This new RPG by Big Bad Wolf will be inspired by the rules of the tabletop RPG, probably in a similar vein (pun intended) to Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (and Paradox's announced sequel), the highly acclaimed and highly flawed final RPG by Troika Games. More information on the upcoming title will be shared at Gamescom 2019 in August.

Bigben also had plenty of other announcements for the Bigben Week. The publisher has six upcoming games, three of them to be released in 2019, and the rest slated for release in 2020 and beyond. Warhammer: Chaosbane (Our Preview) will be out on June 4 next month for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Then there's The Sinking City on June 27, also on the same three platforms. Later in September, they will release WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship, for all three platforms plus Nintendo Switch. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is slated for a 2020 release. Meanwhile, release windows for Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory and a sequel to Test Drive Unlimited are yet to be announced.

Other games covered in the Bigben Week include The Fisherman – Fishing Planet, a fishing simulator, Farmer’s Dynasty, a farming sim, and the self-evident Bee Simulator. If you're interested in more information on Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, keep an eye out during E3 this year for new details.

Finally, Bigben also announced Blood Bowl 3 in partnership with Cyanide, which will coincide with the release of the new paper edition in 2020, which is being revamped with all-new game rules. The publish will share more information on Blood Bowl 3 in the coming months.
