As reported by JapaneseNintendo.com new images of Nintendo's Super Nintendo World have surfaced in a post on a Universal Studio Japan-related blog. Though not official in any capacity, these images open a window into what may be to come for park attendees. They are based on the official promotional video detailing how the attraction may appear once it is complete and appear alongside several photos of actual construction currently taking place at the Super Nintendo World site. Among the attractions that may be available once the park opens include a Mario Kart-themed ride, concept art of which can be seen below, and buildings modeled after other Mario-related areas such as Toad Houses and Bowser's Castle.

Originally announced in 2016, the attraction is set to open in 2020 at Universal Studios Japan, just in time for the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games. It is currently unknown what sort of rides and activities guests may find at the site. But a promotional video released in 2017 may hold clues to what the final experience may be like. The mockups as seen in the gallery below, seem to be heavily Mario-themed.  With elements of both the Mushroom Kingdom at large and colorful landscapes reminiscent of the stages from games in the series dotting the landscape.

Fans of Nintendo will have to trek to its home country of Japan to experience the fun for themselves. As any plans for a western version of Super Nintendo World have yet to surface. Though, considering the worldwide popularity of Nintendo and its class IPs, it may only be a matter of time before you can meet Mario and friend at Universal Studios Florida.

So what do you all think? What Nintendo franchises do you think would make for a fun ride or experience? And do you think that you'd enjoy spending a day in Super Nintendo World? Let us know below in the comments.
