New independent games publisher LOOT Interactive has revealed that they will be unveiling their lineup of games, as part of their rebranding, at this year's E3. Formerly known as LOOT Entertainment, LOOT Interactive is made of industry veterans and is a former subsidiary of Sony. Under Sony, LOOT introduced Men in Black and Ghostbuster HQs for Playstation Home, a reboot of Q*Bert, Mimimi Production's The Last Tinker, and other titles. LOOT says on their website they also offer porting and publishing services to indie developers. They've also had a hand in developing applications for the National Basketball Association, Crackle, and other major websites and sports leagues. Co-founder David Sterling states, “This has been a long time coming, but LOOT Interactive is finally ready to declare it independence as an indie game publisher...”

As LOOT Interactive, the former Sony subsidiary plans to unveil three games at the upcoming E3, which are slated to be released on Sony products under the new publisher. Whispering Willows, developed by NightLight Interactive, Back to Bed, developed by Bedtime Digital Games, and Velocibox, developed by Shawn Beck Games.

Whispering Willows is a 2D horror-themed adventure game, toting hand-painted scenes and graphics. The game was successfully Kickstarted in 2013 and promises a haunted soundtrack and simple narrative in which the player must lead the protagonist Elena through Willows Mansion to rescue her father. Whispering Willows has already won several awards in design and storytelling, is available on Steam and will be made available on Playstation systems by LOOT. Back to Bed is a puzzle game inspired by traditional abstract artists such as M.C. Escher and Salvador Dali. It is currently available on Steam as well, and on iOS and Android. Velocibox is a challenging free running game, originally made for a GameJam but redesigned as a full game after being met with positive reviews. All three games will be made available for PS4, PS3 and PSVita later this summer.
