Tuesday, October 1st
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl (3DS, $39.99)
Originally released as Shin Sekaiju no Meikyuu: Millenium no Shoujo, this game is a 2013 role-playing video game for the Nintendo 3DS by Atlus. Part of the Etrian Odyssey series, it is both a “reimagining” and a remake of the first game.
Flashback (Windows, $9.99)
A science fiction platform video game remake of the original 1992 Flashback. The game is being developed by the original game designer, Paul Cuisset, with his studio, VectorCell, and being published by Ubisoft. Being considered an “expansion” to the original, the game features a host of all new customiztion and skill improvements, as well as more story, gameplay, and voice acting. The game’s difficulty has also been increased, and 360 degree aiming added.
NBA 2K14 (Xbox 360/Windows/PS3, $59.99)
The successor to NBA 2K13, the game is self-explanatory, allowing you to play as an NBA Team/Players/Etc. It has been announced that “Crew Mode” would be returning with this installment as well.
rain is an upcoming adventure video game in development by SCE Japan Studio for the PlayStation 3 video game console. rain’s protagonist is a nameless young boy who, while being lost out in the rain sees the silhouette of a young girl. Upon following her, he also turns invisible, and finds out there are various other invisible creatures roaming about. The goal is to find his way to her among the world of the invisible.
Rune Factory 4 (3DS, $39.99)
The sixth game in the Rune Factory series, and the first to be released on the 3DS, the game is a simulation/role-playing video game developed by Neverland Co. and published byMarvelous AQL for the Nintendo 3DS. All-New Gameplay features elements not part of any previous Rune Factory title, like speaking with dragons and even having long term relationships before marriage.
ArmA Tactics (Windows, $8.99)
Arma Tactics is a turn-based close-combat strategy game, with the player takiing control of a four-member Special Forces team. There are no given strategies to use, rails to move on, or paths to follow; it’s up to the player to decide how he or she will play through both the story-driven missions and generated missions with randomized objectives. This game comes from the ArmA First Person Shooter Series
Wednesday, October 2nd
A.R.E.S.: Extinction Agenda (Windows/Xbox, $9.99)
A 2.5D side-scrolling action platform available for Microsoft Windows, it was developed by a Thai independent developer, Extend Studio. Player takes control of the game protagonist Ares, the first Zytron immune robot created to battle machines that become malevolent from being exposed to the Zytron gas, in a mission to rescue the survivors from a deep space station.
Thursday, October 3rd
Record of Agarest (PC, $19.99)
A turn-based game, choose the path of Darkness or Light through an epic storyline, spanning multiple (in-game) generations. Battle hundreds of different creatures using an array of character abilities, in a turn-based combat system.
Friday, October 4th
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD (Wii U, $49.99)
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker makes its glorious return on the Wii U console with gorgeous HD graphics and enhanced game features. The game is updated with new graphics, as well as some new features!
