Keystone features a retro-pulp art style reminiscent of 1970s sci-fi entertainment. The game is being created by a second internal development team within Digital Extremes. Gameplay will feature a mix of first-person shooter action with a dash of deck-building card game strategy in a competitive-style environment. Throughout the course of the game, the unique powers afforded to you by your customized deck will be one of the factors that determine whether or not your team gains an edge.

Aside from a bit of lovely key art and a general idea of what the game will be all about, we don’t have much else to go on. Even so, retro-futuristic/retro-pulp are art styles that aren’t exactly prolific in the gaming world aside from a handful of franchises like Fallout, Bioshock, and smaller games like Evil Genius.
