BioWare has been tight-lipped on the next installment of their sci-fi RPG series, Mass Effect: Andromeda.

A few days ago, several tweets from BioWare's Chris Wynn have more or less confirmed a few things regarding Andromeda, namely who may actually show up in the game.

According to Wynn's twitter account, questions by fans regarding the status for previous characters from the trilogy seems to be a solid no. However, when asked about minor characters appearing in the game, Wynn stated on twitter  "given that we haven't added every single character to the Andromeda build yet, can't really answer this one yet."

There is a possibility for characters to make an appearance, but it is very unlikely at this point that BioWare will have cameos in Mass Effect: Andromeda, unless it makes sense to the games own story.

That is not the only detail Wynn shared. When asked about the games combat system, he stated that the game will be similar to Mass Effect 3 in terms of gameplay. "There are some new elements that make it more dynamic, but overall similar feel." according to Wynn on twitter.

Not much is really known about Mass Effect: Andromeda at this time. Other than the E3 trailer reveal back in June, nothing has been confirmed by BioWare. Almost all information known or speculated about Andromeda is based upon several leaks to the public, including a survey leak posted back in April.

BioWare did not reveal any further information at Gamescom this year, but did promise to show off more of Mass Effect: Andromeda by the years end, likely on N7 day in November.

Fans are currently speculating over several elements of Mass Effect: Andromeda's story and gameplay, including theories regarding how players will get to the new galaxy. Some believe this is done before the end of Mass Effect 3, some believe it is after the end of the trilogy.

Even on this speculation, Wynn has no comment.
