Years ago, a Triple-A RPG from BioWare going 42% off a month and a half after its release may be a bit unheard of. But these days we are in a new territory on the speed of which games are discounted, particularly for PC gamers. While many didn’t expect the problematic animation, Mass Effect: Andromeda is still a big title from a franchise with a big fanbase. Because of this, GMG is leading the charge on a new 24-hour flash sale for Mass Effect Andromeda, dropping the PC version of the game to only $34.99.

The huge discount on one the biggest release of early 2017 is a part of Green Man Gaming’s 7th Year Birthday sale. The sale entails two new 24-hour flash sale deals per day for 7 days, on big name titles. Another hot deal GMG is currently offering is Grand Theft Auto V: Megalodon Bundle – dropping the bundle to only $38.07. Both deals are 1-day only and both end May 11 at 9 AM Pacific.

GMG Anniversary Deals

Note: After the expiration time the Mass Effect Andromeda deal is still live, but the GTA V offer has expired.

Both games are now priced at the lowest it has ever been. The games require you to either login or create a new account to see the full discount at GMG. This a part of their VIP program, and simply requires you to give your email address (something you need to do at any other retailer anyway).

After login, you’ll also need to apply a voucher code at checkout to get the best price for GTA V Megalodon. At checkout, input in code 7YEARS for a total of 72% off (a new low for the bundle by an additional 13% off). Note: before you try, the 7YEARS coupon does not work on Mass Effect Andromeda.

Just quoting this before anyone makes ill-advised assumptions about the whether or not ME:A sold well.

  • Caio Pontes

Yes, and who do you think authorized them to give that discount?
It’s not up to them the lowest price they can give you.

  • AnarKreig

Andromeda at that price point still isn’t even remotely worth it. :GG:

  • SevTheBear

I say maybe next year at deep sale. But that won’t fix the horrendous writing and voice acting.

  • SevTheBear

It sold well sure, but the it’s reputation ain’t something to celebrated. I had hoped for a better game and now the series rumored to be put on hiatus :/

  • Bioware is dead.

  • Still won’t buy it until I can find it used for like $5USD.

  • BlueBoomPony

Did the founders who left Bioware ever write an article or do a tell all interview about what was happening there? How did a revered company go from its heights to harboring openly racist developers and half assing everything?

  • BlueBoomPony

Never buy it. Send the real message. There’s dozens of other games to play.

  • SevTheBear

    So true
