Some new info on Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite has been revealed in a new story trailer released by Capcom. The trailer shows off 8 new characters as well a release date for the game.
Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite will launch September 19 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as announced in this new trailer. Along with the launch date, we are also given a look at 8 new characters that will be appearing in the game. These new characters were confirmed in a blog post on Capcom Unity. The new characters are.
- Rocket Raccoon
- Strider Hiryu
- Chris Redfield
These characters will go along the already announced Captain Marvel, Iron Man and Captain America from Marvel. Ryu, Mega Man X and Morrigan from Capcom.
This new trailer also gives us a look at what the story will be about. It would appear that Sigma, from the Mega Man X games, and Ultron, the Marvel villain, have teamed up to destroy all biological life. We see heroes from both the Marvel and Capcom universes battling, the now named, Ultron Sigma. The battle looks to take place in Asgard, with Ultron Sigma taken control of the city and its guards. Along with the story mode, there will also be a single-player Arcade mode, Training and Mission modes as well as a variety of multiplayer modes.
Capcom has also given details on the different versions of the game. There will be a Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and a Collectors Edition.
The Deluxe Edition will include the base game, 6 premium costumes and the 2017 character pass that will give you 6 DLC characters, this includes Sigma. This version will cost around $89.99.
The Collectors Edition, which will only be available for Xbox One and PS4, comes with 4 dioramas as well as 4 LED-powered Infinity Stones and the Deluxe Edition of the game. This version will cost around $199.99.
