Comical medieval VR adventure Mace and Grace swings its way onto Steam Early Access on May 15th.
Mace and Grace blends comedy and brutality with a light-hearted medieval aesthetic. Players must battle underwear-clad medieval knights to protect their Grace from a jealous neighboring prince. In doing so, they must wield twin maces to swat the knights away, as well as dodging incoming bombs. It's all about the spectacle in Mace and Grace. You can check out a trailer for the game below:

Developer PlatformaVR is promising multiple stages and game modes for Mace and Grace. It's not yet clear exactly what each mode will entail (or perhaps that should be "entrail"). Players will be able to choose from a variety of weapons including clubs, maces, and fire breath. Hitting incoming knights as hard as possible will earn bonus points, and smashing two knights at once will activate "rage mode" (distinct from Rage mode, presumably). There's also an online leaderboard on which to compete for bragging rights. If you don't want to be the best at beating up medieval knights in their underwear, you've gone seriously wrong somewhere.
Mace and Grace will be available via Steam Early Access on May 15th. PlatformaVR says it's launching in Early Access because it wants to make "one of the funniest VR arcade games ever". The team plans to keep Mace and Grace in Early Access for at least six months. The game will support the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality VR platforms, and will cost $9.99. To celebrate the game's release, developer PlatformaVR will be offering a 20% discount during launch week.
