Of all the animals in nature's kingdom, perhaps the most misaligned is the humble pigeon. Some think this bird is mischaracterized as a vermin while others believe it entirely deserves that reputation. Either way, you'll soon be able to experience life as a pigeon thanks to Bossa Studios' upcoming Pigeon Simulator.

We don't know a huge amount about Pigeon Simulator right now. Obviously, the game will allow you to play as a pigeon. The trailer suggests that the game's pigeons might be capable of slightly more mayhem than they would be in real life. Pigeon Simulator will take place in a town called Barnardshire. By the looks of it, Barnardshire is being terrorized by a psychotic and violent pigeon epidemic. Check out the trailer below:

Pigeon Simulator looks to be a game very much in the vein of Coffee Stain Studios' Goat Simulator. The two games share the same casual disdain for physics and a general sense of animal-related mischief. You'll be able to projectile poop on people and things, drop objects from a great height, and crash merrily into windows, shattering them instantly. If none of that sells you on Pigeon Simulator then you might want to check yourself for a pulse.

We're not sure when or where you'll be able to get your claws on Pigeon Simulator. Bossa hasn't announced a release window and we don't know on which platforms you'll be able to play it. PC is a fairly safe bet; all of Bossa's previous high-profile titles including Worlds Adrift and I Am Bread has been available on PC. It would be a shame for the local multiplayer console crowd to miss out on this one. We'll know more in the coming months, so stay tuned for more info on Pigeon Simulator.

Are you looking forward to playing as a pigeon? What other animals would you like to see star in simulators? Let us know in the comments below!
