Life is Feudal: Your Own, an open world hardcore sandbox RPG by Bitbox, is moving out of Early Access to a full release on November 17th. This comes along with a midweek sale upon release at 40% off, which would put the game down to $24 USD from its usual $40, and the two pack to $39 for those looking to play with a friend.

To coincide with the Life is Feudal announcement, Bitbox has released a new animated trailer featuring Sean Bean, which can be viewed on the Life is Feudal YouTube channel here. Bitbox promises that Sean Bean does not die throughout the length of this trailer, but we're remaining cautious.

Life is Feudal: Your Own boasts 64 player servers in a 3km2 realistic medieval world. The realistic world is persistent, built to the player's rules which can be configured to change things like skill caps, crafting times, and whether or not permadeath exists. As such, servers may be expected to exist on a sliding scale between casual sandbox to Mountain of Corpses: Your Own.

The player advances in a class-free system, choosing to play as anything from a knight to an artist. Combat is physics-based, relying on skilled swordplay more than stats. It proudly features a lack of lock on combat similar to games like World of Warcraft. Buildings are made by players using a modular building tools, giving the ability to create houses, castles, and cities. Terraforming both above and below ground is also an option, giving even further possibilities.

Life is Feudal: Your Own places a massive focus on community, with one player alone being far worse off than a community of players working together for the common good. Whether this common good is simply existing peacefully or conquering the lands in the name of your house and/or chosen gods, is up to you.

Finally, Bitbox promises free future access to the Life is Feudal: MMO that's currently in development, set to release in 2016, for anyone who purchases Life is Feudal: Your Own. The MMO is similar to Life is Feudal: Your Own, but obviously on a massive scale, substituting the 64 player servers and 3km2 world for the promise of something much larger.

We at TechRaptor look forward to the release of Life is Feudal: Your Own on November 17th, and hope to review both it and Life is Feudal: MMO in time.
