For Xbox One Games with Gold you can get World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap and Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition. World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap is an action-rpg and tower defense hybrid wherein you control a hero from one of three classes (Mercenary, Sorceress, or Marksman), and go through the map building towers and fighting alongside them against waves of enemies. Available from January 1st through January 31st, it uses a control scheme based on The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing and contains a single player campaign alongside co-op play and PvP.

Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition, on the other hand, is going to be available from January 16th to February 15th and is a bit of an interesting case. While it is technically DLC, it also contains the base Killer Instinct title along with the 8 new fighters, costumes, and a series of new stages, and the classic Killer Instinct 2 game.

The first of the Xbox 360 Titles is the puzzle-platformer title The Cave developed by Double Fine Productions along with Ron Gilbert and published by Sega. In the game, you choose 3 of 7 characters to go through a series of areas attempting to explore and find all sorts of new things. Each character has their own stories and there are different types of areas inside the game and much of the gameplay revolves around switching characters, and it has Co-Op support. You'll be able to get The Cave between January 1st and January 15th on Games with Gold. The second title runs from January 16th to January 31st and has a different take on the platforming type gameplay. Rayman Origins is one of Ubisoft's ubi-art games and brought their old platforming hero into the modern era in a game that was very well-received for respecting the character and classics while modernizing aspects.

For now, the December games with gold are still mostly available, as one can redeem Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition, and Burnout Paradise for the rest of December, while Outlast is available through January 15th.

What do you think of next month's Games with Gold? Are they a good mix of AAA and smaller titles? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
