At Inside Xbox it's not just about Xbox as the gears shift to talking about gaming on Windows 10. The focus of this is the little known Gamebar that's built into all Windows 10 computers.
Gamebar is getting a revamp for Windows 10, unlike other PC game overlays, the Windows gamebar being built in allows it to work with anything. Customization is a big part of the option, you can add and remove widgets including computer stats, audio options and more. Today Spotify will be added natively to Gamebar, this will allow you to control your music without ever leaving your session.
You'll be able to add Mixer streams to your overlay allowing you to game and watch at the same time. This will work as a PiP overlayed on your screen. No word on whether this will support any other streaming platforms, but it's unlikely.
Xbox's Looking for group, or LFG, feature will also be coming to the game bar. It will allow you to post a session you want people to join to as a way of refining the kind of game you're in the mood to play for and who you want to play with.
What do you think of these additional features coming to the Gamebar? Do you use the gamebar on your PC? Are there any features that could be added to it that you think would make you use it more?
