Hey there you ravenous bunch of Raptors! Much quicker than most would expect, another episode of the Mind of Micah C has come into your lives. Well, sort of. If you’ve been following me on Twitter, you’ve probably seen me mention the idea of doing minisodes of Mind of Micah C, considering how busy I am in my daily life, on top of my work here at Techraptor. So, each minisode will be a short talk about a topic in gaming culture, or something along those lines. Speaking of which, you can also suggest future episodes of Mind of Micah C minisodes down in the comments! I’d love to hear from you guys on subjects you think I should tackle.

With that said, let’s grab the chicken alfredo and dig in! This week, we’re going over the subject of Pre-Order Culture. Enjoy!

Micah Curtis

Micah is a man returning to the fold of video game journalism after a bit of time away. He's a conservative with a passion for business, and a love for the art of video games. Micah has been gaming since the NES, and knows a bit more about art than he probably should........

B-but the season pass and beta access! Also the Gamestop-exclusive bow-and-arrow, or the Best Buy-exclusive suit, or the Walmart-exclusive car!

    >Bioware did make it up

The game is still a massive disappointment even if you ignore the ending fiasco.

The worst pre orders I ever did were Sword of the Stars 2, which was an abomination at launch, but to their credit after a year they did fix the game. It’s just sad is was a bad game. The other one was Sim City and Diablo 3 which were unplayable on launch due to server problems.

Yeah, given the current state of the industry. Don’t pre-order games. It’s just a bad idea. Given time, my opinion on that may change. As it stands right now, just don’t do it.
