The Hunt 03

In this episode of the Hunt, we go into the depths of Steam releases to find a variety of games that have released in the last week. This is an ongoing segment that has been evolving since its initial inception last month and surprisingly has gotten a lot of positive feedback. As a raptor, any reason to continuing hunting is appreciated, and it's great to hear that people have enjoyed the segment.

In this episode, we take a first look at Dying Light, the zombie parkour game that's been a mix of fun and frustration for the person set to review it. In addition, we take a look at a game that has a perfect balance of style and gameplay mechanics involving gravity, a rogue-like that does too much in the visual department, as well as a Snake-like game that reminds some of the old Mickey Mouse black and white cartoons. But wait, there's more. There's a game that actually showed off a major problem with the current implementation of Steam Reviews, due to the requirements necessary to actually make a review for a game you have purchased. And of course, being the rogue-like fan that I am, an additional rogue-like involving computer hacking that reminds me a lot of chess.

Like last week, included at the end of the video is another set of games that are upcoming in the week. I will comment on this however, saying that those are "recommended" release dates, as the kind of games I'm looking at during the Hunt on a regular basis have the tendency to move around and change their release dates at the drop of a hat. So if I don't cover a game during that ending segment, it's most likely due to the fact that either I wasn't able to get to it, or its release date was pushed back. So keep that in mind. As always, any feedback is appreciated, whether it be positive or negative. I like where this segment has gone and how people have reacted to it, and so it'll continue until the audience says otherwise.
