There are now over 400,000 Humble Monthly subscribers according to the digital game distribution company with a focus on great deals. A post on the company’s careers website highlights the number of total subscribers to the service along with a brief history of their company (which recently had its co-founders leave an executive role):
Join our team and you will help change digital distribution and raise millions more for charity. Humble Bundle sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Our mission is to support charity while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a subscription service, a game publisher, and more. We have raised $145 million for charity and counting for amazing charities like the Red Cross, Child’s Play and EFF. And we now have over 400,000 subscribers to our Humble Monthly.
If you haven’t heard of Humble Monthly before, the premise is relatively simple: kick up $12 a month to the fine folks at Humble Bundle and you’ll get 8 or more games digitally delivered to you. Typically, one of the games is available to play instantly with a handful of known titles to follow later in the month. A goodly portion of the offerings are mystery games, meaning that you don’t quite know what you’re getting until the keys are delivered.
If Humble Monthly sounds like the kind of thing you’d like to participate in, you can sign up for Humble Monthly for just $12/month. Don’t forget that pretty much every Humble Bundle (the most recent of which has a delightful focus on visual novels) will give you a coupon with a discount off of your first month!
