Humble Bundle's monthly subscription service has been going strong, with the new bundle being revealed on the first Friday of every month. We now get to see what was in Humble Monthly December, along with learning the first three games that will be in next month's bundle.

If you've been subscribed to Humble Monthly then you already have access to H1Z1, this month's early access game. H1Z1 is a battle royal game where 150 players are dropped into an arena and need to battle to be the survivor.

Besides that, there are six main games available in the bundle. First up is Rivals of Aether. The game is a platform fighting game not unlike the Super Smash Brothers series. The game sees various elemental animals fighting each other to try to knock the others off of the arena. Next is BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Extend, a 2D anime fighting game. The sixth entry into the series, this game features two new characters and stylistic anime fighting for anyone to enjoy. The third game is Nex Machina, an arcade twin-stick shooter where you have to zip through levels to blow up robots while saving humans. You can read our review of it here.

Following that, you get The Sexy Brutale, an adventure game where you need to travel through time to prevent residents of a hotel from being murdered by elaborate death traps. You can read our review here. The fifth game is Strafe. A first-person shooter with roguelite elements, Strafe serves as a massive love letter to the 90's thanks to its art style and gameplay. The final main game included in this month's bundle is Passpartout: The Starving Artist. This indie game has you drawing pictures using the in-game art tool and then selling them to people for money to improve your living condition.

With this bundle, you'll also get a Humble Sneak Peak, which is an exclusive demo of an upcoming game. That demo would be for Way of the Passive Fist, an upcoming 2D brawler. The game is focused on parry attacks, by having you counter your enemies rather than set up long combos. The game is being developed by Household Games and is set to release in early 2018.

There are also two Humble Originals available this time around, both by independent developer Advect Productions. The first game is THOR.N, a first-person game where you perform basic repetitive tasks to earn credits so you can finally leave your apartment. The game appears to take cues from idle clicker games, having you earn credits simply by clicking on symbols and waiting for them to perform. The second game is Crescent Bay, a first-person detective game. Here you'll play as a detective who needs to solve a violent crime by using his supernatural ability to see ghosts.

Three games are available as the January Sneak Peak games, allowing you access to them right away if you buy into next month's bundle. The first is The Long Dark, a survival game that features no supernatural elements, instead having you survive against the elements and wild animals. The game recently left early access and has begun to add an episodic story mode. You can watch our Quick Thoughts video about the game here. Next up you get Quantum Break, the third person shooter/television show hybrid from Remedy. Here you'll make use of your time control powers to shoot your way through various enemies. You can read our review here. Finally, you'll also get Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III. This RTS sees you playing as various races in the Warhammer universe, combining some MOBA elements as you clash with other races. You can read our review here.

If you're interested in the Humble Monthly Bundle, you need to subscribe before January 5th to get the next batch of games.
